Nothing seems to bring in the holiday spirit faster than music, Saturday it could be heard county-wide.

Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center brought together six area high school choirs for their annual holiday concert. Nearly 400 students from John Glenn, Maysville, Philo, Tri-Valley, West Muskingum and Zanesville High School performed at Secrest Auditorium in Zanesville. Superintendent Dr. Richard Murray said the experience is more than just a way to bring in the holidays.

"They spend a whole day practicing together, and then they know they're going to get together as a group of choirs at the end, not only do they make great music, not only do they entertain us but they begin to build relationships that's just good for Zanesville and our community," expressed Murray.

If you missed the concert, it'll air on WHIZ on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at 1:00.
