Cambridge Police and Guernsey County Sheriff's Deputies make two arrests in a Monday afternoon bank robbery.

Cambridge Police said that around 3pm the People's Bank Branch on Wheeling Avenue was robbed by a white male. The man demanded money and fled to a waiting vehicle near 6th Street. No weapons were seen during the robbery and no bank employees were harmed.

Employees at the bank provided a description of the vehicle that was spotted a short time later on Southgate Parkway by Dep. Matt Scurlock. He along with another deputy made the arrests.

All evidence will be presented to Guernsey County Prosecutor Dan Padden for possible charges.

The investigation continues. The two male suspects are being held in the Guernsey County Jail.
