The city of Zanesville is preparing to launch its new water treatment plant, and some customers will be without water during the switch.

The city is working with Kokosing Construction to tie the water distribution lines to the new plant on Buckeye Drive.  Work will begin on Tuesday at 3 AM and continue throughout the day until 6 PM.

The following streets will be without water: Lewis Drive, Mitchell Avenue, Neil Avenue, Carpenter Street, Buckeye Drive, Adamsville Road, Arter Lane, Arthur Street, Wallwork Avenue, Howard Street, Russell Street, Granger Street and Coal Run Road.

Other customers may experience low water pressure or outages.  The city is asking all customers to conserve as much water as possible on Tuesday.
