Zanesville Police are still investigating the discovery of a plastic bag that contained materials used to make methanphetamine.

Officers were called to Blue Avenue just before 8 a.m. Sunday, after a resident noticed a white plastic bag full of plastic bottles, a box of Sudafed, and the smell of starter fluid coming from the bag.
Blue Avenue between Taylor and Somers Street was closed off during the investigation.
Zanesville Police Chief, Eric Lambes says that there are currently no suspects, but officers are investigating the bag, and its contents, and checking for fingerprints and other DNA evidence that might match records in their database.
