Two teens are under arrest Tuesday morning after breaking into parked cars.

Zanesville Police Lt. Bill Shaw said the teens began breaking into the vehicles in the Blue Avenue area around 1a.m.

He said thanks to witness information they were able to find the 19-year-old and 18-year-old driving around and stopped them.

Lt. Shaw said they had taken CDs, cd players and phone charges along with other items.

The pair was arrested for having drug paraphernalia, under age drinking, driving without a license and receiving stolen property.

Lt. Shaw said they'll go to court Tuesday morning.

He urges all residents to please lock their cars and not keep valuables in plain site.
