The Zanesville Police Department says an arrest has been made in connection with two recent purse snatching incidents that occurred in the parking lot of Kroger’s on Maple Avenue. Detective Sergeant Ric Roush says 33-year-old Nickolas Campbell of Zanesville pled guilty Wednesday morning to two counts of felony theft. Roush says the charges against Campbell stemmed from an incident on January 14th involving a 55 year old female and another incident on January 22nd involving a 56-year-old female. Meanwhile, Roush says a third purse snatching incident on January 11th at Pick ‘N Save on Howard Street has already resulted in an arrest. 25-year-old Frank Mihelich Jr. of Zanesville has already been indicted on a robbery charge and scheduled for trial on March 27th in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.
