Zanesville officials cut the ribbon on a business to help residents in our area.

Home Instead Care focuses on providing non-medical services for not only seniors but people of all ages. The company's owner said they drive their clients to appointments, bathing, housekeeping and laundry, among other tasks.

"I love coming to work everyday. I just don't feel like it's work," said Owner Amy Huddleston. "We're really providing a service. It's a nice place for our caregivers to work and we love being a great place to take care our clients."

Home Instead expanded to Zanesville after seven plus years at their Granville location. Muskingum County Chamber said it's charismatic attitude like this that drives business.

"Every one of these is a piece of the puzzle. The economy all works together and any positive ripples throughout the economy," said Tom Poorman. "This all relates to shale development, to retail development, manufacturing development. They are all connected in some way."

Poorman said the fact that new business and expansion are occurring is a good sign for our community and is important part of the development effort.
