A local farmer is offing a $1,000 cash reward for information regarding tires that were dumped on his property.
Around 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Frank Gorsky said he called police to a section of his property that borders Kohl's Department Store.
He said about 60 tires were dumped over a railing behind the store onto the ground fifteen feet below.
"One of my employees noticed all these tires laying there, so we called the Police department, and had the Zanesville Police make a report on it, and Kohl's didn't have any security cameras at the rear of the store so we're kind of at a loss there, so we hope someone will come forward," said Gorsky.
Gorsky said he now has to haul the tires out and dispose of them; which he said will cost over three hundred dollars to do.
He hopes offering a cash reward will encourage somebody to step forward with information.
"It's almost unbelievable. We counted close to 60 tires that we've got to dispose of. So, it's depressing," Gorsky added.
Gorsky asks anybody with information to call the Zanesville Police Department at 455-0700.
