Now that we're into spring, people are anxious to get their gardens going...
Master Gardeners hosted a informational seminar at John McIntire library Monday night. Library Assistant Director Blair Tom said the group covers a variety of topics that affect gardeners.
"The members of Master Gardeners are such a terrific resource for the community. They have a wealth of knowledge and practical experience. So they'll share a variety of options that people can consider with vegetable gardening, which there's renewed interest in that, as well as container gardening, raised bed gardening," said Tom.
The seminar was held in the library's auditorium. Tom said members of Master Gardeners took questions after the seminar, and the library has plenty of information as well.
"So lots of opportunities to hear and interact with experts, as well as investigate and borrow the resources that can be borrowed at the six libraries in Muskingum County."
Master Gardeners will also speak at the South Branch Library on April 17th.
