The cost of gasoline is going down…at least for now.  Average gas prices in Ohio have dipped by 8 cents per gallon over the past week but remain at rates more than 20 cents higher than a year ago.  The rate in Monday’s survey from Auto Club AAA is $3.83 per gallon.  Last Monday’s average price was $3.91.  Ohio drivers were paying about $3.62 this time last year, 21 cents less than the current average.  Average nationwide gasoline prices have jumped to about $3.93 per gallon, 28 cents more than a year ago.  Investors are watching tensions over Iran’s nuclear program.  President Barack Obama said Friday he plans to proceed with economic sanctions against countries buying oil from Iran.  China rejected the decision, saying Washington had no right to punish over nations.
