The smell of springtime flowers is in the air and as the Easter holiday approaches many are bringing spring indoors.
Florist Greg Orofino said that during the Easter season people want to celebrate by bringing the outdoors inside. A hallmark of that is bright colored flowers with sweet smells.
"The fragrances, my goodness," exclaimed Florafino's Greg Orofino. "We have freesia and hyacinths and all these flowers have super fragrances to them and they actually add a lot to the room."
Orofino offers a tip to those decorating too not put too many of these flowers into one room because the fragrance may be overpowering. The shop also puts together fun arrangements featuring Easter bunnies and eggs.
"It's a lot of fun to make them up because it's an uplifting type of season," said Orofino.
Orchid corsages are also popular as well during Easter.
