New Device Helps Woman Shed Pounds

By now, many of us have given up on our New Year's resolutions to lose weight, but a Zanesville woman is an inspiration to get back on track.

Angela Cordray has dropped hundreds of pounds over the past two years.  Cordray said her size prevented her from leaving the house, but a new device helped her exercise without stepping foot in a gym.

"I started using a stationary bike and one of these pedal devices," said Cordray.  "You can be sitting in any seat, so it was really convenient for me."

Cordray said she's now able to work out regularly at The Fieldhouse.  Owner Mick Amicone said The Fieldhouse is partnering with Walmart to provide homebound individuals with pedal exercisers.

"One of our trained exercise professionals will schedule an appointment, and we'll actually go into the home and work with the people that need this to show them how to use it," said Cordray.

For more information, or to schedule an appointment, contact The Fieldhouse at (740) 454-2224.
