Four Year Sentence for Meth Lab

A Zanesville man will serve four years in prison for his part in a rolling meth lab where a child was in the car.

27-year-old John Campfield Junior received the sentence Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas from Judge Kelly Cottrill. He had previously pled guilty to the illegal assembly of chemicals for the manufacturing of drugs.

Campfield, his wife 25-year-old Stephanie Campfield, and 30-year-old Atasia Burkett were arrested in January on Linden Avenue in Zanesville. Authorities say they discovered a mobile meth lab in the vehicle they were in. The Campfield's two-year-old child was also in the car.

Stephanie Campfield was sentenced to two years in prison and Atasia Burkett also pled guilty in connection with the case.
