OVI Checkpoint Nears

The Ohio State Highway Patrol warns motorists to not drink and drive,

Lt. Steven Rine said this week troopers will operate an OVI checkpoint to deter and intercept impaired drivers.

The county where the checkpoint will take place and the location will be announced the morning of the checkpoint.

The patrol said motorists who plan to consume alcohol should designate a driver or make other travel arrangements.

Operational support for the sobriety checkpoint will be provided by local law enforcement agencies.
