Byesville Shooting Suspect Still At Large

The search continues for a man wanted in relation to a shooting in Byesville.

According to Guernsey County Sheriff Mike McCauley, on Friday deputies responded to a civil disturbance call at a residence on Fourth Street in Byesville.  He said two females were involved in a physical altercation, and a male armed with a handgun shot another male at the scene.

The victim was treated and released from Southeastern Med.  The suspect is identified as 25-year-old Christopher Tuckosh of Byesville.  He's charged with a second degree felony count of felonious assault with a gun specification.

McCauley said that Tuckosh was recently released from prison and should be considered armed and dangerous.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office at (740) 439-4455.
