A juvenile was sent to the hospital following a rollover crash in Frazeysburg Friday afternoon.
Trooper Stephen Williams with the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, says a Ford Bronco was westbound on County Road 76, also known as Narrows road, around 4:00 p.m., when driver Brian Barr lost control.
"It drove off the right side of the road, down a ravine, and overturned." explained Trooper Williams.
Barr suffered only a few cuts and scrapes in the accident, which Trooper Williams attributes to him wearing a seatbelt. His juvenile passenger, however, was transported to Good Samaritan hospital with minor injuries. Trooper Williams says speed was a factor in the one car wreck, and reminds drivers to slow down.
"We encourage people to obey all the speed limits. If they aren't familiar with the road, slow down, especially on rural roads where there is gravel and debris." said Williams.
Williams says Barr will be cited for failure to control.
