The "Romney for President" Campaign bus made a stop in Zanesville Tuesday, delivering supplies to relieve those still suffering from Friday's devastating storm.
The bus was unloaded at the Muskingum Valley Red Cross in downtown Zanesville. Non-perishable food items, some basic necessities, and 56 cases of water were given to help those who are still without power.
"So many people are in such a bad position with the weather, and losing all that power, and trying to rebuild their homes." explained Kevin Servick, a field director for the Romney for President Campaign.
Servick says the bus made stops in six counties yesterday. He says after the storm, the decision was made to turn the campaign bus into a relief bus.
"It's nice to see, it's nice to be delivering this and see the faces of the people just light up when you unload cases and cases of water that you know are going to go to a good use and people in need." said Servick.
The Red Cross will distribute the supplies to overnight shelters and cooling centers in Muskingum County.
