Dozens of plants and pieces of artwork were on display for the public outside of the John McIntire Library Wednesday.
The annual Earth to Art event, which is in its 6th year of existence, features vibrant displays of plants as well as paintings and photography.
The money raised will provide grants to local schools in Muskingum County to fund classroom projects that serve horticultural purposes.
Chairwoman Kathy Mohler said prizes are awarded to entrants and those who visit can enter a raffle to win their favorite arrangements.
"The winners are given ribbons, first, second and third place winners, then there's best of show winners and then we also have people's choice, so the community can come and vote their choice to win a people choice award as well," said Mohler.
This year's show features a silent auction with donations coming from local businesses.
Mohler said she was concerned that the lack of rain would have affected some of the presentations but said those who participated went above and beyond compared to years past.
"The numbers are down because of that we feel, but the quality is up, so we feel that everybody has kind of upped the ante a little bit as far as putting their entries in and so we're just tickled with what's coming through to us," added Mohler.
The show continues until 7:30 p.m. in front of the library on North 5th Street.
