Zanesville City School officials are offering a cash reward for information leading to the capture of vandals who are targeting the district.
Student Services Director Kevin Appleman said over the last month, two windows at Zanesville Middle School and three truck windows at a maintenance building were smashed.
In addition, a Coca-Cola vending machine was defaced and an athletic department golf cart was also stolen.
Appleman said a rock was used to shatter a window at the baseball and softball facility and said that he and other school administrators have had enough.
"If you are doing it, then please stop," said Appleman. "I don't think you would appreciate us coming to your home and damaging your property. people in this community, our taxpayers, they pay for this, Myself, everybody else. I just wish that they would stop doing this."
A district-wide call was sent out Wednesday asking for help regarding the incidents.
Appleman hopes a cash reward will be enough to make somebody come forward with information.
"There is a $100 dollar reward for the arrest and conviction so hopefully we can get them," added Appleman. "I just got a call a little bit ago, I don't want to say who it was, but they offered to double that for us, so that just shows that our community likes our new schools."
Those with information are urged to call Kevin Appleman at 588-5573.
