Wet weather plays a role in two accidents on Interstate 70 east Friday morning.
Sergeant Clark Felix said that around 9:30 a.m. a silver Honda hydroplaned on the wet roadway near the Adamsville exit and struck a guardrail.
A Chevy behind the car attempted to avoid the accident and slid on the road and spun into the median and ended up facing west.
Sgt. Felix said the female driver of the Chevy suffered some minor injuries and complained of a headache. She was taken to the hospital.
The accident reamins under investigation.
