A rollover accident sends three people to the hospital.
State Highway Patrol Trooper Jeff Fowler says a car traveling Eastbound on Interstate 70 crashed near New Concord.
"The vehicle drove into the rumble strips on the median side, overcorrected, lost control, flipped into the median ejecting one of the back passengers out the back window," said Trooper Jeff Fowler.
Fowler says all three people were transported to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
"I don't know if any of the other occupants were seat belted in. I'm going to assume the girl in the backseat didn't have a seat belt on," said Trooper Fowler.
No other vehicles were involved, and no citations were given at the time of the accident. Troopers shut down one of the eastbound lanes during the investigation, which caused a traffic jam on the interstate.
