A Zanesville man wanted in connection with a double homicide in Cambridge has turned himself in to authorities. Guernsey County Sheriff Michael McCauley says 22-year-old Tyler Burrell walked into the Sheriff’s Office Thursday and was taken into custody. Burrell and 20-year-old Elgin Mitchell, also from Zanesville, and already in custody have been charged in the shooting deaths of Christopher Morrison and Justain Nelson, both of Cambridge on June 24th at Coventry Estates Apartments. The two suspects face six charges including complicity to commit murder and complicity to commit aggravated robbery, both with gun specifications. Sheriff McCauley says Burrell could be arraigned on the charges as early as Friday. Earlier this summer two other suspects – 23-year-old Megan Blanchard of Cambridge and 20-year-old Anjomo Churchill of Zanesville were convicted of complicity to commit aggravated robbery in the case and are awaiting sentencing.
