Students Turning to Online Tutoring

The Muskingum County Library System is seeing an increase in those using a free online tutoring resource.

Those using Tutor.com have access to a free, 30 minute tutoring session and a live tutor to assist with homework.

Assistant Director Blair Tom said the resource has been available for a couple of years and find that students of all ages are getting help using a non-traditional method of education.

"With today's lifestyles and the kind of technology that younger students are most familiar with, it's another way that we reach out and assist residents in Muskingum County," said Tom.

Tom said assistance and online resources are also available for resume review and for those studying foreign languages.

"People can visit their libraries online and the six buildings in Muskingum County and get help as they begin the school year," added Tom.

Students, parents and teachers can find the link on the Muskingum County Library System's website located at http://www.muskingumlibrary.org.
