Two more people are facing charges in connection to a woman found beaten and burned on the side of a road in Muskingum County.
In a press conference held Tuesday, Sheriff Matt Lutz said 24-year-old Monica Washington and 33-year-old LaFonse Dixon are both facing three felony charges of aggravated murder with a death specification, kidnapping and aggravated arson, along with 20-year-old Katrina Culberson, who was charged Friday.
The charges stem from the death of 29-year-old Celeste Fronsman who was found naked, and beaten with severe burns on State Route 208 near Adamsville.
According to Lutz, both were captured in the Canton area and the arrests stem from the focal point of the investigation.
"We feel very confident right now, that we're in a position that we feel good about this case," said Lutz, "Does that mean there's not a lot of work to do? No. Does it mean that there couldn't be new things develop? It does, but right now we feel very strongly about the case we have."
Lutz said two vehicles were seized as a part of the investigation and that the suspects all had connections to Muskingum County but declined to release how the individuals knew each other.
"We want this case tried in a court of law, and not tried in the media or in public," added lutz, "because of the sensitivity of this case, we're not going to release a whole lot of details in regards to their relationships or the motives."
Both Washington and Dixon are in the Stark County Jail and will eventually be brought to Muskingum County for arraignment.
Lutz said the investigation is still far from over.
