The annual Genesis Pro Am golf tournament wrapped up at the Zanesville Country Club Sunday.
This is the 32nd year of the tournament, which featured more than one-hundred golfers.
The three day event raised over $100,000 for the Genesis Healthcare Foundation.
"This year's tournament , it's going to be split up into several different categories," said Atkinson. "but one of the things it's going to support is the new facility, and also specific departments, cancer services as another."
Last year the proceeds went toward a cardiac screening truck and electronic defibrillators for area high schools.
One of the unique aspects of this tournament is that professional golfers join in on the fun.
"We have 34 professionals out here today, playing with the amateur golfers," added Atkinson," and they can win a cash prize up to $5,000."
The evening concluded with a "Swing for Hope" ceremony dedicated to cancer patients and their families.
