The Chamber of Commerce is now accepting entries for an annual holiday tradition.
The Festival of Trees auction will take place at the end of November and entries are being accepted from now until November 1st.
Membership Services Director Dana Matz said the three-day event is a great way for local businesses to promote their products and services.
"The last couple of years we've had over 200 entries and again those are from small trees and wreaths to large trees and we have brought in over $40,000 in the past," said Matz.
All proceeds benefit the Chamber of Commerce and will be used to invest in economic development in Muskingum County.
Matz said while the entries themselves can be big and elaborate, the incentives also help to bring in the big bucks.
"We've had them as simple as a $20 -$25 gift certificate to a restaurant to somebody offering to fly two guests to a baseball game of their choice in Pittsburgh, Cincinnati or Cleveland," added Matz.
The auction will also be broadcasted live on "The Voice" AM 1240.
