With less than four weeks until the election, Obama volunteers are pushing Ohioans to get out and vote.
Ohio is in the third week of early voting and volunteers are making sure voters are well informed before visiting the polls. Former First Lady of Ohio Frances Strickland joined in on the action this weekend.
"I always admire the people that care enough that they will come out and will make this last push and that's going to be extremely important whoever gets the vote out is the one that's going to carry the state," said Strickland.
Strickland fired up the volunteers before they set out to encourage voters. After canvassing Zanesville, the group headed to Martins Ferry and Marietta to spread their campaign message across southeastern Ohio.
"This has been a steady push all the way and I think right now when people think it's a very close race, this is when people are going to come out and vote to conviction," said Pat O'Brien.
The voter registration deadline has passed, but you can go online to find an early polling place near you.
