Pancake Day

It's Sertoma Pancake Day in Zanesville and already more than 1,000 people have filtered through the doors of Secrest Auditorium.

The doors opened on the 52nd Annual event at 6a.m Wednesday morning. People were lined up for the taste of all the pancakes they could eat along with sides of sausage and orange juice.

"It's a tradition. It's one of the longest and best traditions in Zanesville," said Sertoma Member Randy Coconis. "It happens in downtown Zanesville and it's just always great to have this many people come together and it's obviously for a good cause."

Coconis said that the crowd Wednesday morning was thin but expects things to pick up throughout the afternoon and evening. Sertoma Pancake day is the biggest fundraiser for the group.

Money raised by the event helps support local organizations.

Tickets are $8 at the door. You have until 7p.m. Wednesday to take part.
