Bank Robbery in Perry County

The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office is on the look out for a suspected vehicle involved in a robbery.

According to scanner traffic the robbery occurred at the Thornville People's National Bank at 14806 Zion Road just after 11a.m. Wednesday morning.

Perry County Sheriff's Office scanner traffic indicated the vehicle is a late model Toyota with a temporary license plate that started with a "W." There's no plate on the front of the vehicle.

The suspect was described as a white male 6'0 tall, wearing a mask, blue tennis shoes, black shirt and jeans.

Reports indicated that the man did show a weapon to bank employees. The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol and the Licking County Sheriff's Office is also on alert for the suspect and vehicle.
