It's the time of year when many people start thinking about what they're thankful for.
Foxfire High School held a luncheon Tuesday to thank their community partners for the support and help they offer year-round.
"We just want them to understand the gratitude we have for them working with us." said Outreach Coordinator Tami Porter "It's a nice chance for them to be in the school, interact with the students, because we do have student speakers and servers."
Porter says the partnerships Foxfire has within the community helps make the school possible.
"It does take a village to raise a child." she said "With parents, sometimes single family homes, most parent definitely both working for the economy, it's just really nice to know that someone else is helping to keep an eye on those kids."
Students also benefit from the partnerships because they provide students with an avenue for community involvement.
