A train derailment is under investigation in Muskingum County. It happened Wednesday south of Dresden near Rock Cut Road. Five cars from the Central Ohio Railroad left the track around 7:30 Tuesday night. Chief engineer Bill Keys says the 26 car train was traveling south when the accident happened. The train was carrying construction debris to Tunnel Hill in New Lexington. Crews spent Wednesday moving the cars and the line will be repaired in the next few days. No one was injured. Rail traffic is not being affected by the incident since the Ohio Central Railroad has diverted travel to another line.
