We now have more information on an accident that sent four people to the hospital Friday night.

The Zanesville Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol says that shortly before 6 p.m. Friday near mile post 11 on State Route 16, a Dodge Dakota pickup truck driven by William K. Napier III, 18 of Port Washington went left of center while traveling east on Ohio 16 striking the vehicle of Robin R. Snider, 52 of Coshocton traveling westbound.

Napier and his three passengers, Julian Steinbrook, 18 of Buckeye Lake, and a 15-year-old-boy and 17-year-old-girl were taken to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital with minor injuries. They were treated and released. Patrol says Napier was attempting to avoid stopped traffic from another accident on 16 and his brakes failed. Napier was cited with an unsafe vehicle and not wearing a seat belt.
