Winter Storm Warning In Effect

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for our area from 5 a.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday.   The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that since 12 a.m. Ohio Department of Transpiration Crews and Zanesville City crews have been pre-treating area roads in anticipation of today’s snow, ice and other wintery conditions.  Stay tuned to Whiz T-V, A-M 1240 radio, Z-92 and our for the latest on the storm.

*A Winter Storm Warning is now in effect for the majority of the region through 6 AM Thursday*

*A Freezing Rain Advisory is now in effect for Morgan County until 1 PM This Afternoon*

*A Winter Weather Advisory is now in effect for Hocking County until 1 AM Thursday*

A major winter storm will be moving through Southeast Ohio for your Wednesday. A wintry mix and heavy snow will be with us for the majority of the day, with snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches possible by the end of the afternoon across the region.
