A new month means new art for the first Friday Art Walk in downtown Zanesville.
This time those visiting the ZAAP Gallery will get a taste of the past and present. Artists new to the organization will show their work next to those who were past members.
"Sometimes an artist works their craft for so long and then they get a little bit tire and kind of give up," said ZAAP member Gary Graham. "We do a show like this to kind of energize those that had worked and shown before that maybe aren't showing now."
This month's featured artists in Janna Prior. Her work can be viewed at Towers Studio located in the Masonic Temple. Prior is a photographer. Graham said no matter what type of art you enjoy there is something for everyone.
"Art is an expression. Photography as well is an expression because you have to be able to pick the right angles and do the right poses," said Graham. "Each piece of work here is just an expression of the artist that did it."
The art walk is 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.. Friday.
