A 7th grade Tri-Valley math teacher resigned this week after she was indicted on six counts of furnishing alcohol to three underage people and one count of perjury.  Muskingum County Prosecutor Mike Haddox says Michele Gross faces the perjury charge from grand jury testimony in connection with a hearing involving her husband, Matthew, who was indicted on rape charges. He is expected to go on trail later this month after his first trial ended in a hung jury.  Haddox says the other indictment involving Mrs. Gross resulted from an incident in June of 2012.  Haddox says if convicted Mrs. Gross faces three years in prison.  Tri-Valley Superintendent Mark Neal says Mrs. Gross resigned from her job on Wednesday and it was accepted at a special board meeting Thursday.  Mrs. Gross had been with the district since 1998.  Neal says he never had problems with her other than some recent absences.  Neal said Gross was a good and effective teacher and he never had a complaint from a parent.
