The KTM Junior Supercross Challenge is designed to give 7 and 8 year old riders a chance to feel like a pro- racer for a day.

Kids from all over the country participated in the 4 lap main event during the February 9th challenge in Wilkes-barre Pennsylvania. The number one overall finisher was a boy from Duncan falls named Austin Driggs.

"Its a race that little kids get to be in and they get to be pros for the whole day, they get gear and they get a bike to ride on and they ride on one of the big tracks you wouldn't normally ride on" said Driggs.

Nationwide, 150 children signed up to participate but only 15 were chosen based on certain qualifications, such as age, weight and riders must be getting above average grades in school. As for Driggs, after winning and feeling like a pro for a day he has big dreams.

"I want to be a pro on the Redbull KTM team because my favorite rider on the 250's is Ken Roczen and my favorite rider on the 450 is Ryan Dungey and they are both Redbull KTM. "

Driggs won in a close race beating his opponent by only 6 one hundredths of a second.
