Two area families are homeless after their homes burn in separate fires. The Muskingum Valley Red Cross say early this morning they were called to help a family living at 5460 Flintridge Road in Crooksville. Terry Savage, his daughter, Christy and her three children were forced from their home. The Red Cross says the home was destroyed. The family had not insurance. The Red Cross is helping with money for clothes, food and temporary housing. The Red Cross is also helping a New Concord Family who lost its home to fire. It happened at 1492 Tedrick Road. Living in the home were Tara Casey, Nate Settle and three children. The Red Cross is helping that family with funds to buy clothes and food. They will be staying with family.
