Over 1200 scouts, parents and volunteers had a blast at Scoutfest, an event that took almost 18-months to plan.
"It's really to bring the scouting family together and the mission of scouting is really to show boys all the possibilities that are available to them in life. To open their eyes to opportunity and just to give them hands on experience in a variety of things," said Ed Mulholland, Executive Director of the Muskingum Valley Council Boy Scouts.
All of the boys started with 12 cards stating the different core values of the Boy Scouts and then traded cards to get all 12.
"For example, if I wanted this card, I would ask the person who had it and would see if they had this card. If they didn't, you just go to another person and have it and try and trade it," said Owen Healey, a Cub Scout.
They will have a religious service tomorrow morning and will go home to warm up after their weekend sleeping outside.
