"Our purpose is to raise money for scholarships and enrollment at Zane State College is up for the past several years and with that comes increased financial need. So a day like today we're out on the course having a lot of fun and raising money to help people in our community go to college," said Pamela Jira, Executive Director for the Zane State College Foundation.

"We talked about a lot of different things of the fundamentals of the golf swing, myself and general manager Kelly Morrow, he's also a PGA professional. We talked about things that we thought could help the people out here on the golf course . In reality they'll probably be thinking about everything we said and play a lot worse today, but in the future we hope their golf game gets better," said Jimmy Hanlin, PGA professional.
The annual golf outing usually raises enough money to award five, $1,000 dollar scholarships to Zane State College students
