Bomb Threat Forces Lockdown For Maysville Middle School

The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office says the Maysville School District is under lockdown Monday morning. Sheriff Matt Lutz says a bomb threat was called into one of the school buildings. Superintendent Monte Bainer says the threat was found written on the wall of a restroom in the middle school. Bainter says the school was evacuated and law enforcement is on the scene investigating. The Sheriff’s Department’s bomb sniffing dog has is also on the scene. No other details have been released.
