Jeffrey McKnight, a senior at Bishop Rosecrans says his plans after graduation are attending the United States Air Force Academy to major in either political science or military strategies and says he wants to become a pilot after he graduates from the academy. Although he says he'll miss high school, he says he's ready for his future to start.
"It's a sad day, I enjoyed my time at Rosecrans, it's a great school and the teacher's definitely prepared me for the future but at the same time I'm really excited to go out to Colorado Springs to the Air Force Academy so it's kind of mixed feelings, bittersweet," said McKnight.
Another graduating senior says she'll be majoring in business at the Ohio State University Newark campus in the fall and plans follow in the footsteps of her family and other influential people in her life.
"I have people in my life that own their own businesses and they're pretty successful and I'd like to do the same," said Sirae Stevens.
Both students say they'll really miss their friends and the support system that Bishop Rosecrans High School offered them.
