4-H Educator Dies

A longtime 4-H educator in Muskingum County has died. 53-year-old Vicki Reed of Dresden worked for nearly 30 years for the Ohio State Extension Agency in Muskingum County. She passed away Tuesday at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. Her expertise was with teaching youth about livestock. In 2006 she received the Charles Lifer Excellence in 4-H Award annually given to the top 4-H educator in the state. Arrangements are being handled by the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home. Calling hours will be Monday June 3rd from 2pm to 4 pm and from 6pm to 8pm at North Terrace Church of Christ in Zanesville. The funeral service will be Tuesday June 4th at 11 am at the church. Reed will be buried in Dresden Cemetery.
