A company in hunt of treasure seeks out the rare and interesting items lurking in your home.
This week Heritage Trading Post has been at the Welcome Center taking a look and buying some interesting items from area residents. So, far they've purchased a 12 string epiphone guitar and coins dating back to the late 18-19 hundreds.
"We see some of the coolest stuff come in," said Owner of Heritage Trading Post Matthew Enright. "It's always somebody wondering what it's worth. The cool thing is they can do it for free when we're here."
Enright said some of the items he's purchased this week will be up for sale.
"We actually have a store in Lancaster that we typically put a lot of our stuff up in there," Enright explained. "We work with a couple auction companies, one out of Texas, we send some stuff too, especially if it's graded or what not because they work with a lot of high end collectors."
There's still time for you to bring in your items. Heritage Trading Post will at the Welcome Center in downtown Zanesville until 6 p.m. Friday and 9-4 p.m. on Saturday.
