Gary Graham says he has been an artist all of his life and travels all along the east coast to capture seascapes with acrylic on canvas.
"I do travel up and down the east coast. I do go from Massachusetts down to the Carolina's and back. So a lot of these paintings on the wall are from North, South Carolina, Hilton Head Island, Bluffton. Anyone that travels those areas will probably find some of these areas familiar to them," said Graham.
Graham says to become a featured artist, you have to make it known to the board and president of Z.A.A.P. Since June's theme is the sea, he thought his artwork would be perfect. His paintings will be on display for the entire month at Z.A.A.P.'s Art Gallery in downtown Zanesville and you can also view and purchase them at the First Friday Art Walk Friday evening.
"I hope everyone comes down, it's going to be a nice clear evening from what I understand. We will have music and snacks and it'll just be a good time. If people want to meet me, I'll be here to answer any questions."
The art walk starts Friday at 5 p.m.
