Bill Thomas of Thomas Family Orchard sells plums, blueberries, peaches and 30 different types of apples. But last weeks weather has cost him part of his crop this season.
"Last Wednesday night, I lost eight trees," said Thomas. "Broke off at the roots, or at the graft union. That windstorm that came through here, it could happen again on Saturday afternoon i hear."
Kristen Baughman, of Curly Girl Farm says her vegetables weren't damaged from the weather. She says she got lucky because of the sandy soil she has, which helped soak up some of the water.
"Come down to the Wednesday night market. This town is big enough for more than just a Saturday market so yes, come down and support us."
The Wednesday farmer's market is open from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at the Zanesville-Muskingum County Welcome Center.
