The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the accident just before 2 O'clock on Friday at the intersection of US 40 and Interstate 70.
"There was a 2000 Ford pick up truck traveling westbound on US 40," said Trooper Adam Henry of the OSHP. "Attempted to make a left turn and was truck by a eastbound minivan."
Both drivers were injured and taken to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time. Trooper Henry says the driver of the pick up truck will be cited with failing to yield while making a left turn.
"It's just simply not, failure to yield when turning left. Just making sure you have enough distance to make the turn that you're gonna do it."
The Falls Twp. Fire Department also responded to the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
