Artists from Ohio and surrounding areas found their way to Colony Square Mall for this year's Y-Bridge Arts Festival.
More than 50 artists set up booths at the event to showcase and sell their work. One returning artist came from St.Louisville, Ohio and says that Zanesville has always been a popular place for him to sell his work.
"Ornaments always sell. We are coming up on fall season with pumpkins they sell really well in the fall, it just depends on what time of year it is if it sells," said Glass Artist, Aaron Buchholz.
In addition to those items he sold glass magnets, fruits, and paperweights that he crafted at his own studio. Buchholz says that he also sells fish and those are the most difficult to make.
" The fish can be kind of tricky because there's multiple parts of the fish the fins, the eyes, so those are kind of unique and they are not symmetrical and they are weighted a little differently, " said Buchholz.
Buchholz started blowing glass in 1995 while in college and manufactured glass products for a long time before opening his studio, St. Louisville Glass. For more information about his work you can visit his website or you can stop by his booth at the art festival from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
