Clothes, furniture, electronics and other household items were all sold at an event on Saturday, with one exception..everything was free.
North Terrace Church of Christ held their annual Free Stuff Giveaway with the same original goal they have had for the past 12 years.
"The concept behind this is people will bring stuff from their home that maybe they would use in garage sell or something like that and instead of selling it and making a profit they'll just give it away to help people in our community that maybe have some greater needs than what we may have, " said Head Minister, Bill Meaige.
Maige says that with the help of volunteers they were able to keep everything running smoothly while people of all ages were able to take something home.
"The kids love to get the games, you know the little kids love to go over to the games and the toys and things like that, and the parents like to look through the stacks to find school clothes, " said Meaige.
The Free Stuff Give Away ran from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and all the left over items were given to the local goodwill. The church wants to thank all the people who made the day possible.
