Saturday Farmer's Market Switched Locations

The Saturday Farmer's Market set up shop downtown to make room for an event at the fairgrounds.

The 167th Annual Muskingum County Blue Ribbon Fair starts Sunday, and to let people prepare, vendors switched locations. Tents were set up along the freight shops downtown.

" This is a good location. This is a nice spot with the railroad station and everything here. It's always slower this week because of the fair. I think it's maybe because people are so busy with the fair, " said Owner of Arnold Farms, Hillary Arnold.

Although the Farmer's Market was sizably smaller than usual, Farmers still had plenty of summer crops for the public to choose from.

" Well we are in full season now. We've got the sweet corn, tomatoes, even the watermelons and cantaloupes are in season now  and the peaches.. just about everything is in season, " said Arnold.

Arnold says the fall crop is just around the corner, but it is still not quite ready, so for now enjoy the summer choices while you still can.
