Florida Georgia Line made a stop at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds Thursday night before they headline their first tour this fall. Before getting signed to Republic Nashville, the two singers traveled across the country after college playing music to whoever would listen.
"It's been wild ya know," said the band members. "We've roughed it for quite a few years and so we've had a lot of fun making fans and to be on our first headline is a dream come true so we're pumped for October 30th to get here."
Garth Brooks, Alabama, Tim McGraw and rapper Juvenile are some of the artists both Brian and Tyler say they looked up to while growing up. And say loyalty is what they love most about their fans.
"They're passionate about our music and they keep spreading like wild flowers and i mean they're just loyal. That's probably the word for it. They've been voting for us they changed our lives, they're awesome."
The band had some spare time before the show and played a game of golf at Eagle Sticks on Thursday. To see where they play next you can go to www.floridageorgialine.com
